At Hungry Bowl Mongolian Grill, Sushi & KBBQ, lunch feels more like an experience than just a meal. From the moment you walk in, the entire setup gives you the freedom to build exactly what you want while still delivering restaurant-quality flavor and presentation.

The Mongolian grill station is the centerpiece of the experience. Guests start by visiting the raw food bar, where you can fill your bowl with your choice of proteins including beef, seafood, and chicken, along with fresh vegetables and noodles like udon or lo mein. After that comes the fun part — loading up on the house-made sauces and seasonings. Pro tip: use more sauce than you think you need because it cooks down on the grill and locks into every bite.
Once your bowl is ready, you simply hand it off with your table card and relax while the chefs take over. Watching the cooks work the massive flat-top grill adds to the atmosphere, and when the food arrives at your table, it’s hot, fresh, smoky, and packed with flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the steak had a great sear, and the shrimp tasted fresh right off the grill. Every bite had bold flavor without feeling heavy.

What makes Hungry Bowl stand out even more is that the experience doesn’t stop at the grill. Every table is equipped with a tablet that allows you to browse and order additional items directly from your seat. Fresh sushi rolls, appetizers, ramen, and Korean BBQ options can all be ordered digitally and brought right to your table fresh-made.
The sushi presentation was outstanding. Rolls topped with avocado, eel, and rich sauces looked almost too good to eat. The salmon, tuna, crab, and cream cheese combinations tasted incredibly fresh, and every piece was carefully prepared with attention to detail. The spring rolls arrived crispy and golden brown with the perfect crunch.

The non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri was another standout. Since Hungry Bowl does not currently have a liquor license, the drink is alcohol-free, but honestly, it didn’t need anything extra. It was cold, refreshing, smooth, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry, making it the perfect complement to the rich savory dishes.
Hungry Bowl combines interactive dining, fresh ingredients, made-to-order food, and impressive presentation into one experience. Whether you’re building a loaded Mongolian grill bowl, diving into handcrafted sushi, or ordering appetizers straight from the tablet, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully prepared.
For anyone looking for a unique dining spot in Central Massachusetts, Hungry Bowl in Leominster absolutely delivers.
