WORCESTER, MA — A violent incident on Columbus Street has left two people injured, including one victim suffering a serious stab wound to the neck.

Police and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, first responders located one victim outside with a significant knife wound to the neck. A second victim was later discovered inside a nearby home with injuries that have not yet been confirmed.

Both individuals were treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital. Their current conditions have not been officially released.

Authorities quickly secured the area as Worcester Police began an active investigation. Detectives were seen canvassing the neighborhood and speaking with potential witnesses as they worked to determine what led up to the incident.
