Over the last couple of months, an unsettling series of events has unfolded in New England—events that have generated a rising tide of speculation online and caught the attention of law enforcement. What started as scattered posts and hushed conversations has morphed into a whirlwind of theories, timelines, and determined digital sleuthing.

Yet, beneath this clamor lies a foundation of hard, disturbing facts. This is not merely an internet obsession; these are real cases, involving real people. At the center of it all are communities desperately seeking answers that seem increasingly elusive.

Here’s what we know so far.

Thirteen women have been discovered deceased across the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine since March, with most bodies recovered in remote, wooded areas.

The latest grim find is that of 21-year-old Adriana Suazo, a resident of Boston. She was discovered on Sunday, June 1, in a secluded wooded area near a private residence on Central Avenue in Milton, Massachusetts.

According to a statement from the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police, along with local Milton Police, have launched an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Suazo’s death.

The body of Adriana Suazo was located in the area of 143 Central Ave. by a passerby around 11:45 a.m. District Attorney Morrissey said, there were no obvious signs of trauma to her body, raising further questions about the cause of death.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office has emphasized that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is also conducting an investigation, and has urged anyone who interacted with Suazo in the week preceding her death to reach out to the Massachusetts State Police Tip Line at 781-830-4990.

As this information continues to emerge, fears of a potential serial killer roaming New England grow more pronounced.

Adriana Suazo marks the 13th woman to be found dead under mysterious circumstances in this region. The grim timeline began on March 6, when the body of 35-year-old Paige Fannon was discovered in the Norwalk River in Connecticut, coinciding with the discovery of a human skull in a wooded area near Route 3 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

On March 19, investigators uncovered the dismembered remains of 58-year-old Suzanne Wormser hidden inside a suitcase in Groton, Connecticut. Her roommate was arrested in connection with the case but died shortly after while in police custody, adding another layer of mystery to the incident.

The troubling trend continued: 59-year-old Denise Leary was found dead in New Haven on March 25, and the following day, 56-year-old Michele Romano’s remains were located deep within the woods of Foster, Rhode Island.

In April, the disturbing pattern persisted. On April 9, unidentified remains were located in Killingly, Connecticut, and on April 20, a body was recovered from the Seekonk River in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Just a week later, another corpse was discovered in the Connecticut River near Rocky Hill on April 27. The same day, yet another body was found in Taunton, Massachusetts, raising alarms across the region. On April 22, the lifeless body of 45-year-old Meggan Meredith was found near a bike path in Springfield, Massachusetts.

On May 30, the remains of 34-year-old Jasmine Wilkes were found in Edgewood Park in New Haven, further intensifying fears and speculations surrounding these tragic incidents.

As fear ripples across New England, communities grapple with profound grief, confusion, and an urgent demand for answers regarding these troubling series of events, and candlelight vigils illuminate the night.

Many residents can’t shake the feeling that these incidents are more than mere coincidence, pointing to a pattern that suggests an unsettling reality.

One undeniable truth emerges. Something deeply disturbing is unfolding across the region, and investigators remain focused, methodical, and relentless in their quest for justice—not only to bring resolution to the anguished families left in turmoil but also to determine whether these tragedies stem from isolated acts of violence or signal a more sinister pattern that could lead back to a predator still at large.
