A rollover crash involving a fully loaded tri-axle dump truck forced the shutdown of Wheelock Road in Sutton earlier today, creating a significant disruption in the area.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after the heavy truck overturned, leaving it disabled and blocking the roadway. Due to the size and weight of the vehicle, the incident required a complex recovery operation.
J.D. Bousquet & Sons Towing was called in to conduct a dual heavy-duty recovery, utilizing multiple wreckers to safely upright and remove the truck from the scene.
Wheelock Road remained closed for an extended period as crews worked to clear debris, stabilize the vehicle, and ensure the roadway was safe for reopening.
There has been no immediate word on injuries or what may have caused the rollover.
