Fire crews in Oxford responded to a fully involved shed fire around the 0400 hour at 8 Johnson Lane, prompting an urgent response and a brief second alarm activation.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions with flames extending from the shed to a nearby fence. Command quickly struck a second alarm due to the intensity of the fire and threat of further spread.

However, within approximately five minutes, the second alarm was canceled as crews made rapid progress on the fire.

Squad 1 stretched a line and initiated an aggressive attack, quickly knocking down the bulk of the flames and preventing further extension.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
