WORCESTER, MA Fans can get an exclusive Roman Anthony bobblehead by purchasing four or more reserved seat tickets for any WooSox home game during Opening Weekend or in April and May. This special offer begins Tuesday, March 4, and is available while supplies last. Tickets must be bought online at www.woosox.com, at the Polar Park Ticket Office, or by calling (508) 500-8888. The giveaway excludes general admission seating.
Bobbleheads must be picked up in person at a free Open House event at Polar Park on March 15, from noon to 3 p.m.
The 20-year-old outfielder, considered one of the best hitting prospects in Minor League Baseball, impressed in his Triple-A debut last season. In 35 games for Worcester, he hit.344 with 16 extra-base hits, 33 runs, 20 RBIs, and 31 walks. Drafted by the Red Sox in 2022, he was named Gatorade Florida Player of the Year in high school.
The Open House will offer fans a chance to enjoy batting cages, ballpark food, and a Red Sox Spring Training game on the big screen. The event features new food items, including fried Oreos, mac and cheese balls, corn dogs, and specialty fries. The Nacho Nacho Man stand will serve BBQ brisket, chicken, pulled pork sandwiches, and walking tacos.
Fans can preview the Royal Wooters Club, a new climate-controlled lounge for Season Ticket Members. Featuring an elegant bar, a historic Fenway Park pool table, and cast-iron table bases from Boston’s legendary Durgin Park, the club is set to open on Opening Day.
The WooSox begin their fifth season on Friday, March 28, at 3:05 p.m. against the Syracuse Mets. A UniBank Fireworks show set to “Baseball Classics” will follow the game.
Polar Park, a key part of Worcester’s growing Canal District, was recently named Best Ballpark in Triple-A by fans in a Ballpark Digest poll.
