WORCESTER, Mass. — A Worcester man is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after police allege he disrupted an arrest scene, entered posted private property, fled from officers and later refused commands during his arrest and transport, according to a criminal complaint and statement of facts filed in Worcester District Court.
David Tobias Webb, 35, of Worcester, was charged with trespass, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest in connection with an incident on June 9, 2026, court records show.
According to a Statement of Facts submitted in support of the criminal complaint, an officer wrote that he was handling the arrest of another individual when Webb approached the scene “in an aggressive manner yelling and screaming.”
The officer wrote that he ordered Webb to stop approaching and warned him he could be arrested for interfering with a police investigation. The statement alleges Webb was inside Saint John’s property, which the officer said was clearly posted with “NO Trespass” signs.
The officer further alleged that Webb’s actions drew residents outside to watch the disturbance and that Webb continued yelling despite being warned he would be arrested if his behavior continued.
According to the filing, Webb then crossed the street and told the officer to “fuck myself.” The officer wrote that he attempted to apprehend Webb, but alleged Webb ran into traffic, causing a vehicle to stop.
The statement alleges officers then informed Officer Marchand and Officer Ryan Anderson that Webb was under arrest on the listed charges. The filing states the officers attempted to arrest Webb, but alleges Webb “took off running in full sprint.”
The report also describes Webb’s conduct after he was taken into custody. According to the officer’s written statement, Webb was handcuffed but refused commands, refused to stand up and told officers on scene to “do your job.”
The officer wrote that before lifting Webb from the ground, he asked whether Webb could stand and walk, and alleged Webb answered “yes.” The filing states Webb was helped to his feet but then refused to walk, leaned forward in an apparent attempt to fall onto the pavement, and kept “his whole-body stiff and ridged.”
According to the statement, officers then carried Webb into a patrol wagon after determining he was refusing to comply. The officer wrote that Webb lay face down on the wagon floor and refused instructions to sit on the seat so he could be buckled in for safety.
The statement concludes that Webb was transported to the Worcester Police Department for booking. The reporting officer wrote that he observed a scrape on Webb’s person and that Webb did not complain of any injuries at the scene.
Court records show the criminal complaint was issued June 10, 2026, in Worcester District Court under docket number 2662CR003229. Webb is charged with one count each of trespass, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
The charges are allegations. Webb is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
