When the suspect refused to comply and continued to pose a threat, the officer discharged his firearm, striking the man. Despite being transported to the hospital, the suspect was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The officer was evaluated at the hospital as a precautionary measure but did not sustain any serious injuries; no other patrons were harmed during the incident.
