Red Sox pitchers and catchers are set to commence their first workouts for the 2025 Spring Training season tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, at Fenway South, the club’s state-of-the-art Spring Training and Player Development Complex in Lee County, Florida. The workouts, which are free and open to the public, will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and are expected to feature an impressive roster of 36 pitchers and six catchers.
Fans eager to watch the team in action can enter the complex through the West Gate starting at 9:00 a.m. In addition to the workouts, JetBlue Park offers guided tours available seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., running through March 23. However, these tours will not be available from February 14-16 due to special events. Tickets for the tours are priced at $10 per person, and children aged 12 and under can join for free. Guests seeking a more exclusive experience can opt for game day VIP tour packages, available at $40 per person and $15 for children 12 and under. These tours are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and arrangements must be made in advance by calling 239-226-4772.
Throughout the workouts, concessions and Red Sox merchandise will be available for purchase, allowing fans to enjoy food and drinks while showing their support. The Red Sox team store will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the workouts, with plans to extend hours to one-hour post-game starting February 21. This season, JetBlue Park will accept only digital forms of payment to streamline the fan experience. Tickets for the 2025 Spring Training games can be purchased online at redsox.com/tickets and the JetBlue Park Box Office, which is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mastercard is the preferred payment method for transactions at the park.
The Red Sox’s first full-squad workout is scheduled for Monday, February 17, where they anticipate a total of 60 players in camp, which includes 20 non-roster invitees. The roster will consist of six infielders, six outfielders, and six players capable of playing both infield and outfield positions, in addition to the pitchers and catchers.
All workouts taking place from February 12-20 will occur at the Fenway South Player Development Complex, located at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers.
The excitement continues as Spring Training games are set to begin at JetBlue Park on Friday, February 21, with a matchup against the Northeastern University Huskies at 1:05 p.m. The Grapefruit League schedule will officially launch on the road, with the Red Sox facing off against the Tampa Bay Rays at Charlotte Sports Park on Saturday, February 22, at 1:05 p.m.
Kicking off the 2025 Spring Training season, this marks the 14th year that the Red Sox will be training at JetBlue Park at Fenway South, proudly presented by CVS Health.
