On November 4th, the Boston Red Sox exercised outfielder Rob Refsynder club option for an additional year. This past season, he put up career numbers and set career highs all across the board. Working hard this past season, playing the most games he has in his career with 93, he has shown his dedication and resilience towards the city of Boston, but more so the organization as a whole.

In the 23-24’ season Refsynder put up 77 hits, 16 doubles, 11 home runs, and 40 RBIs with a batting average of .283, while making 31 starts in the left field, 20 in the right field, and 10 as the designated hitter. He is clearly all over the field.

Originally drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round in the 2012 draft, he has bounced from team to team, never truly finding a home in the Major Baseball League. Going into this season after having his club option extended, it will now be his third season playing for the Boston Red Sox.
