At his arraignment on April 24, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in Lawrence District Court before Judge Sorina S. Puzzo, Mike Abad was charged with multiple offenses.
These offenses included carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, carrying a firearm without a license, resisting arrest, and interfering with a police officer.
Abad’s plea was not guilty to all charges. Bail was set at $25,000.00 surety bond or $ $2,500.00 cash, but since Abad could not post bail, he was committed to the Essex County House of Correction.
Abad is due to return to Lawrence District Court on May 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. for a pretrial hearing.
