Governor Baker Nominates Michael F. Hogan as Clerk Magistrate of the Lynn District Court

On Tuesday, Governor Charlie Baker announced the nomination of Assistant Clerk Magistrate of the Malden District Court, Michael F. Hogan as Clerk Magistrate of the Lynn District Court.

Governor Baker in a statement said, “Attorney Hogan’s unique perspective and experience in public service and criminal justice makes him well-qualified to serve as Clerk Magistrate,”

Attorney Hogan has over 25 years of experience in the criminal justice system as a practicing attorney for 22 years and a member of the Massachusetts State Police for 25 years.

Attorney Hogan served as a member of the Massachusetts State Police for 25 years, retiring in 2010 at the rank of Sergeant.

Attorney Hogan in 1993, completed Graduate Coursework in Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earned his B.S. from Westfield State College in 1985 and J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1998.
