A woman was seriously injured in a stabbing in downtown Worcester late Thursday morning, according to police.
Authorities said the incident was reported at approximately 11:02 a.m. at the Worcester Common. Responding officers located a female victim suffering from stab wounds and immediately began providing emergency medical care at the scene.
Police said officers applied a chest seal bandage before the victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation remains active, and officials have not released additional information regarding a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
