The New York Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 109-93 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks are now halfway to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.

All of the Knicks starters recorded double-digit scoring, showing a balanced effort. Josh Hart stole the show with 26 points and five made three pointers. Mikal Bridges was extremely efficient going 9-12 on field goal attempts translating to 19 points.

Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns both had double-doubles. Brunson scored 19 and dished out 14 assists while KAT scored 18 and grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Knicks went on a 18-0 run in the third quarter which put the game out of reach for the Cavs.

The Cavs were once again led by Donovan Mitchell who scored 26. James Harden struggled once again going 6-15 from the floor.

The Cavs had 17 less assists than the Knicks and also shot terribly from the free throw line, going 68.8 percent, which erased any hope for a comeback late in the game.

Cleveland will have the home court advantage for the next two games. They are no strangers to being down 2-0 as they came back to win the series against the Pistons from being down 2-0.

Game 3 will be on Saturday on ABC.
