Vermont (Westminster Barracks) – Trooper Evan Wilkinson of the Vermont State Police responded to an incident in Westminster at 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 23.
Following an investigation, Lucas Newell, 26, of Brattleboro, was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Assault.
Newell is expected to face the appropriate court proceedings related to the charge. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
