Vermont (Royalton Barracks) – On Feb. 22, at around 7:20 a.m. Trooper Michael Robidoux responded to an incident on US Route Five in Hartland.
35-year-old George Akroyd, of Hartford, was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Operation of a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent and Leaving the Scene of an Accident, following an investigation.
He is expected to appear in the appropriate court to face the charges. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
