Seabrook, NH – Shortly after 2:30 AM, Feb. 19, Massachusetts State Police issued a BOLO for a Black 2021 BMW 5 Series that was involved in an incident earlier in East Boston, during which the vehicle reportedly struck a Massachusetts State Trooper.

At approximately 3:07 AM, New Hampshire State Trooper Patrick Vetter spotted the BMW traveling north on Interstate 95 in Seabrook. He followed the vehicle as it exited at Exit 1 and, with assistance from other troopers and Seabrook Police, a traffic stop was conducted on Stard Road.

The driver was identified as 27-year-old Binit Bikram Shah of Raymond, New Hampshire. Officers observed signs of impairment and placed him under arrest.

Shah is charged with Felony in Possession of Controlled Drugs, Misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence, Operating After License Suspension, Operating without a Valid License, Possession of drugs in a vehicle, and Contempt of Court for Violating Bail Conditions.

He remains in custody and is being held at the Rockingham County Jail awaiting a scheduled appearance at Hampton District Court at 11 AM on Thursday.
