BOSTON — Earlier Friday morning, Boston Police and the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force executed a series of search warrants that led to the arrest of 34-year-old Prince Denis of Brockton.

The warrants — issued by Waltham District Court — authorized searches of Denis’s person, residence, and vehicle. Officers watched as Denis exited a Hyde Park apartment building with a brown paper bag, which he placed into a nearby vehicle. When investigators confronted him, they recovered a key fob, keys, and a cellphone.

Inside the apartment, officers found two bottles of lactose (a common cutting agent), a strong box with cash, and more keys linked to the box. In the vehicle, police discovered 233 grams of a white rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine and papers bearing Denis’s name.

The vehicle was seized for forfeiture, and Denis was charged with Trafficking a Class B Substance (Over 200 Grams). He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
