BOLTON, Mass. – The town of Bolton announced Sunday that Police Chief Luke Hamburger died suddenly.
Hamburger joined the Bolton Police Department in 2005 after beginning his career in Shrewsbury in 2003. He attended the police academy in 2006 and served as a patrol officer until 2012, when he was promoted to sergeant. He became a lieutenant in 2016 and was appointed chief in July 2024.
Hamburger’s cause of death and funeral service information have not yet been released.
