1. Josh Allen is hunting history Thursday night. With two total touchdowns, he becomes the fastest player to 300 in NFL history, breaking Patrick Mahomes’ mark of 128 games.

2. Allen is also sitting on 197 passing scores. Three more and he joins the six fastest quarterbacks to 200, alongside Mahomes, Dan Marino, and Aaron Rodgers.

3. Buffalo’s dominance over Miami is absurd: 12 wins in the last 13, a perfect 8-0 at home under McDermott, and Allen himself is 13-2 against the Dolphins.

4. Miami is last in turnover differential at minus four and coughing up 33 points per game. Unless Tua finds a miracle, it could get ugly in Orchard Park.

5. Josh Jacobs has scored in 11 straight games, tied with legends like Landanian Tomlinson and John Riggins. One more in Cleveland, and he joins Emmitt Smith in the 12-game club.

6. Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor look to keep Indy’s AFC South stranglehold alive. The Colts are 32-14 against Tennessee since 2002 and winners of four straight in the series.

7. Jonathan Taylor’s 165 yards last week showed he’s back to MVP form. If he repeats against the Titans, it could be another historic season.

8. Carson Wentz vs. Jake Browning in Minnesota isn’t the headline anyone wanted, but it’s what we’re getting. Both teams are missing their rookie quarterbacks, and both are desperate at 1-1.

9. The Bengals have never won a road game against the Vikings. History isn’t on Browning’s side.

10. Rodgers sits on 508 touchdown passes, tied with Brett Favre. One more and he moves into sole possession of fourth all-time, behind only Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning.

11. Patriots vs. Steelers used to decide the AFC. Now, it decides who still has a pulse. New England is 4-1 against Pittsburgh in the postseason, and has won three straight overall.

12. Jared Goff tossed five touchdowns last week. Another 300-yard outing against Philly would tie him with Marino and Brees for third-most 300-yard games in a quarterback a first 10 seasons.

13. Philadelphia owns the Rams, winning nine of the last 10 meetings, including last year’s divisional-round knockout. This is a chance for revenge in South Philly.

14. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t been 3-0 since 2005. Rachaad White and Baker Mayfield are trying to change that against a battered New York Jets team starting Tyrod Taylor.

15. Justin Herbert has five straight games with a passer rating over 110. If he makes it six against the Denver Broncos, he’ll join Rodgers, Mahomes, Brady, and Steve Young in rare air.

16. The Los Angeles Chargers have owned the Denver Broncos lately, winning four of five in L.A. The Broncos still lead the series 73-57-1, but history won’t save them Sunday.

17. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is three catches away from passing Koren Robinson for fourth-most receptions in a Seahawks’ first three seasons. He’s only in Year 2.

18. Spencer Rattler is 0-8 as a starter. The Saints have dropped two heartbreakers already. Seattle smells blood.

19. Bijan Robinson gashed the Minnesota Vikings last week. Against the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta’s favored by 5.5, and Robinson could break this one wide open again.

20. The Panthers are 0-2 and reeling. Bryce Young’s five-touchdown outburst last year against Atlanta feels a lifetime ago.

21. Kyler Murray has tormented the San Francisco 49ers, posting a 9-7 career record against Shanahan. Arizona swept the Niners last year, including that 47-24 demolition.

22. Christian McCaffrey is on a tear with 107 scrimmage yards and a score last week. He’s the one man Arizona has never figured out.

23. Mahomes turns 30 with more wins, playoff wins, and touchdown passes before 30 than any quarterback in history. He needs seven more to hit 300 and pass Peyton Manning for most in a player’s first nine seasons.

24. The Giants hold an 11-4 series edge over the Kansas City Chiefs, but this is desperation time in New Jersey. An 0-3 start with Mahomes rolling in is nightmare fuel.

25. Monday night is pure box office: Lamar Jackson vs. Jared Goff. Jackson is chasing a third straight 125-plus passer rating game, which would make him just the fourth quarterback ever to open a season that hot. Goff can tie Marino and Brees for 44 career 300-yard games in his first 10 years.
