Manchester, New Hampshire police say they busted a major drug and gun operation right in the heart of the city — and hauled in cash by the tens of thousands.
On September 11, the department’s SWAT team stormed 29 Prospect Street, Apartment 1L, armed with a state-issued search warrant tied to a joint probe by the Anti-Crime Unit and the ATF’s New Hampshire Violent Crime Task Force.
Inside, officers found what they called a full-blown stash house. Police say they seized a laundry list of narcotics — cocaine, crack, fentanyl, ecstasy/MDMA, amphetamines, mushrooms, and marijuana — plus more than $23,000 in cash and four firearms.
The target of the raid, 43-year-old Ashton Cadet, was cuffed on the spot. He now faces a stack of charges, including Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Felonious Use of a Firearm, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell.
Cadet was arraigned Friday, September 12, in Manchester District Court. Police said the bust is part of a broader crackdown on violent crime and drug trafficking in the city.
