The Red Sox Foundation is bringing a new kind of doubleheader to Fenway Park.
Right after the Sox wrap up their 1:35 p.m. tilt with the Athletics on Thursday, September 18, the ballpark will transform into the stage for the first-ever Nike RBI Showcase — a celebration of the top youth baseball and softball talent from across New England. Admission is free, with gates opening at Fenway’s Gate D as soon as the big-league game ends.
The showcase will spotlight four “All-Star” squads — two baseball, two softball — each made up of 12 standout players nominated by their coaches for performance and sportsmanship during the 2025 season. Suiting up as honorary captains: fan favorites and World Series champs Brock Holt and Keith Foulke.
The action begins with softball at 5:15 p.m., followed by baseball under the lights at 7:30. Between games, fans can snap photos with the Red Sox World Series trophies, catch appearances from Wally and Tessie, and check out interactive Fanatics activations around the park.
Nike RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) has become a pipeline for opportunity in the region, engaging more than 1,500 kids and teens each year while providing coaching, equipment, uniforms, umpiring, and tournament travel through the Red Sox Foundation. The program isn’t just about building better players — it’s about building stronger communities.
For one night at Fenway, the next generation gets the spotlight.
