MADBURY, N.H. – A Rochester man was arrested for DUI after a violent rollover crash in Madbury on Saturday left his passenger seriously injured.
At 11:54 a.m., New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop A responded to Freshet Road, where a 2009 Honda Civic had rolled multiple times, ejecting an adult male passenger.
The preliminary investigation found the driver, Cameron Renner, 21, of Rochester, lost control of the vehicle while traveling south, crossed the centerline, overcorrected, and went off the west shoulder before rolling over. Renner sustained minor injuries, while the passenger suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to local hospitals.
Due to the severity of the crash, the NHSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (CAR) Unit assisted with the investigation. Renner was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, falsifying physical evidence, and reckless operation. He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Dover District Court on October 9, 2025.
Freshet Road was closed for roughly four hours while troopers and emergency personnel investigated the scene. Assistance was provided by the Madbury and Lee Fire Departments.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper First Class Nathaniel Goodwin at Nathaniel.D.Goodwin@dos.nh.gov.
