MANCHESTER, N.H. — Rudy Giuliani was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Manchester, New Hampshire, late Saturday night. Three people, including Giuliani, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. as troopers were investigating a reported domestic violence incident on I-93 southbound. A Honda HR-V driven by Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, struck the rear of a Ford Bronco driven by Theodore Goodman of Michigan, with Giuliani as a passenger. Both vehicles went into the median and were heavily damaged.
State police said Goodman and Giuliani had earlier stopped southbound to assist a woman reporting a domestic violence incident before re-entering the highway northbound. Investigators said the driver of the HR-V had no connection to the earlier incident.
Lanes in both directions were closed for about an hour. No charges have been filed. Video from troopers’ dashboard and body-worn cameras is under review. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Mark Dore at (603) 223-4381.
