PROVIDENCE, R.I. (August 23, 2025) — Immanuel Tino, 26, of 132 Oakland Avenue, Providence, was arrested early Saturday morning by state troopers following a high-speed motor vehicle pursuit.

Tino faces multiple charges, including Eluding from Law Enforcement – First Offense, Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – First Offense, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense, Driving after Suspended License – First Offense, and a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on a previous DUI charge.

The pursuit began on Route 146 North at Charles Street in Providence after Tino struck a Providence Police Officer and ended with a vehicle stop in Lincoln. He was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
