On August 12, 2025, at approximately 11:56 AM, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Oread Place when they observed a man, identified as 44-year-old Porfirio Burgos of Chandler Street, holding a clear sandwich bag in his lap while several people stood nearby.
Officers saw Burgos hand a small item to another man, who was later stopped and found to be in possession of what appeared to be crack cocaine. Police then approached Burgos and recovered a larger bag containing what also appeared to be crack cocaine.
Burgos was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
