A Londonderry man is facing multiple charges following an alleged assault and robbery reported last week at a local motel, according to the Vermont State Police.
Randall Leach, 45, was arrested on July 25 after troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to the Magic View Motel on VT Route 11 for a report of an ongoing assault. The investigation determined that Leach had allegedly committed larceny from a person, assault and robbery, and simple assault.
Leach was issued a flash citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on July 29 at 12:30 p.m. He was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility and held on $2,000 bail.
The case remains under investigation by Trooper Michael Maldonado of the Westminster Barracks.
