Seven games lit up the New England Football League (NEFL) on Saturday night, with action spanning from Connecticut to New Hampshire as teams continued to jockey for playoff positioning.
The Windsor Flyers remained undefeated with a dominant 34-6 win over the New London County Silverbacks. The Flyers, now 4-0, will face their toughest challenge yet next week when they meet the 2-0 Rhode Island Riptide at Stebbins Stadium in Cranston, Rhode Island.
The New England Bombers also kept their perfect record intact, overwhelming the Mill City Eagles 53-6. The Bombers improved to 5-0 on the season, with two victories at home and three on the road.
The Boston Bandits notched a convincing 26-9 win over the Middleboro Cobras. The Glens Falls GreenJackets and Granite State Destroyers played to a 10-10 tie, highlighting a gritty defensive battle.
In the North Atlantic Conference, the Haverhill Hitmen powered past the Rhode Island Raptors with a 34-12 victory. The Mass Warriors also looked strong, routing the Middlesex County Longhorns 38-6.
Over in the Maritime Conference, the Vermont Ravens secured a solid 28-13 win against the Metro West Golden Badgers.
With standout performances and undefeated streaks on the line, the New England Football League’s Saturday slate showcased the growing intensity of midseason competition. As teams like the Bombers and Flyers continue to set the standard, all eyes now turn to next week’s matchups—where rising contenders will look to shake up the standings and prove they belong in the championship conversation.
