Hartford, Conn. — The Hartford Yard Goats return to Dunkin’ Park on Saturday night looking to end a four-game losing streak as they continue a three-game series against the Somerset Patriots, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. in what will be Game 20 of the second half and Game 89 overall for the Yard Goats. The game will be televised on NESN+ and streamed on MLB.TV, Bally Live, and MiLB.TV. Fans can also listen live on the Audacy App, audacy.com/wtic, and MiLB.com.

Hartford enters the game with a 10-9 record in the second half after splitting a six-game series in Portland. The Yard Goats won the first three games but dropped the final three, extending their current losing streak to four games. They are still in search of their first series win in July after going 0-2-1 in three series this month.

Left-hander Michael Prosecky will make his Double-A debut for Hartford. The Rockies’ No. 25 prospect (MLB.com) was promoted from High-A Spokane, where he posted a 7-5 record with a 3.86 ERA in 18 starts. He ranked among Northwest League leaders in several categories, including strikeouts (93), innings pitched, and opponent batting average (.218). Prosecky was a sixth-round pick by Colorado in 2022 out of Louisville.

Somerset will counter with right-hander Trent Sellers as the Patriots look to build on their 13-6 second-half record.

The Yard Goats’ 28-player active roster features 13 returnees and 15 newcomers. It includes two first-round draft picks: first baseman Charlie Condon, the Rockies’ No. 1 prospect, and outfielder Benny Montgomery, ranked No. 13 in the organization. Other prospects to watch include outfielder Cole Carrigg (No. 2), left-hander Sean Sullivan (No. 8), outfielder Jared Thomas (No. 10), and left-hander Welinton Herrera (No. 20).

Recent roster moves include Prosecky’s promotion to Hartford on July 19 and the addition of infielder Braylen Wimmer on July 18. Right-hander Blake Adams was placed on the injured list, while infielder Kyle Karros and right-hander Brayan Castillo were promoted to Triple-A.

Saturday’s game is the 11th of 18 scheduled meetings between Hartford and Somerset this season. The Yard Goats are 5-5 in the season series, having won two of three games at Dunkin’ Park and split six on the road. This weekend marks Somerset’s final visit to Hartford. The Yard Goats are set to travel to New Jersey in late August for the final series between the two clubs.

Last season, the Yard Goats and Patriots faced off in the Eastern League Division Series playoffs.
