To HARRISON, N.J. (June 21, 2025) New York Red Bulls II have bolstered their midfield with the addition of Nate Worth, acquiring the 18-year-old on loan from the Tampa Bay Rowdies for the remainder of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.
“Nate is a talented young midfielder with great vision,” said Head Coach Michael Bradley. “As a Red Bulls Academy product, he already understands our playing philosophy and will be a strong addition to our midfield unit.”
Worth joins Red Bulls II after two seasons with the USL Championship’s Tampa Bay Rowdies, where he made 30 appearances across all competitions. He scored his first professional goal in a 4-2 victory over Charleston Battery on July 28, 2024, and debuted for the Rowdies earlier that season on May 12 against Legion FC, becoming the youngest midfielder in club history to make his debut at 17 years and 76 days old.
Before his stint in Tampa Bay, Worth played for FC Tulsa, also in the USL Championship. He made 23 appearances in all competitions, becoming the youngest player to debut for the club in a 2023 U.S. Open Cup Second Round match against Tulsa Athletic on April 6, 2023, at just 16 years and 39 days old. He netted his first USL Championship goal on October 14, 2023, in a 5-2 win over Hartford Athletic.
The midfielder began his professional journey with Red Bulls II, making his debut on June 26, 2022, against El Paso Locomotive FC. At 15 years and 120 days old, he became the fifth-youngest debutant in club history.
Internationally, Worth has been a consistent presence across U.S. Youth National Teams. Most recently, he represented the U-18s at the 2025 UEFA Friendship Cup, appearing in all four matches as the U.S. defeated France, Argentina, Australia, and Portugal en route to the title. His international résumé also includes appearances with the U-15s, where he scored his first international goal against Portugal, as well as the U-16 and U-19 National Teams.
