Thursday afternoon the Red Sox announced that Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles has been postponed due to significant rainfall expected to continue through the evening in the Fenway area.
Thursday’s game will be played on Friday as the first game of a split doubleheader beginning at 1:35 p.m.
Tickets for Thursday night’s game, the Red Sox said, will be good for admission to the rescheduled contest. Tomorrow’s regularly scheduled game remains at 7:10 p.m.
