On Friday, members of the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and the Providence Police Department arrested Jhogel Florentino, 30, of Providence, Rhode Island.
Florentino was charged with Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation, Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation, Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation, Alteration of Marks of Identification of Firearms, Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Possession of Fentanyl In Excess of 1KG, Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine In Excess of 1KG, Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine In Excess of 1KG. Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana in Excess of 5 KGs.
Florentino was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, then was turned over to 6th Division District Court for his arraignment.
