Connecticut Sun Lose Season Finale 102-91

The Connecticut Sun played their final home game against the Chicago Sky. The Sun ended up losing their season finale 102-91.

Courtney Williams, the former Sun player, led the way for the Sky scoring 23 points. Williams led all scorers while also having a triple-double adding 16 rebounds and 13 assists to her 23 point performance.

Elizabeth Williams scored 21 points as well for the Sky. Dana Evans contributed 18 points and Marina Mabrey had 16 points in the Sky win.

For Conneticut Olivia Nelson Ododa led the way with 20 points. Ododa also grabbed 11 rebounds giving her a double-double in the season finale.

Tyasha Harris finished with 17 points in the loss while Natisha Hiedeman and DiJonai Carrington also scored in double figures. Hiedeman scored 13 while Carrington had 12.

Alyssa Thomas in very little action added 5 rebounds and 4 assists giving her the league lead in total rebounds and total assists. This made Thomas the first player in WNBA history to lead the league in total rebounds and total assists in the same season.

Both teams will advance to the playoffs and will both be in action on Wednesday.

The Chicago Sky are the eight seed and will travel to Las Vegas to take on the Aces.

The Connecticut Sun are the third seed and will host the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday with tip off scheduled for 8:00PM.
