At about 1:20 PM. on Saturday, August 26, New Hampshire State Police arrested Christopher Palermo, 47, of Danbury, NH, wanted on a parole warrant.
Palermo, a known white supremacist, was arrested following a weeks-long investigation initiated by the NH Department of Corrections and overseen by the U.S. Marshals Service New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force.
U.S. Marshals were informed that Palermo was in possession of firearms, and a sex offender registration search showed that he never reported to the NH State Police to perform his initial sex offender registration upon being released from jail earlier this year.
Palermo was located in the area of Kearsarge Valley Road in Wilmot, NH. and was taken into custody without incident.
U.S. Marshals say firearms were found on the premises where Palermo was located. As a result of being convicted in 2012 for aggravated felonious sexual assault on a minor, Palermo is prohibited from carrying a firearm and must register as a sex offender.
