Boston Police Thursday night arrested a 17-year-old juvenile male with a loaded firearm in South Boston.
Officers assigned to District C-6 in South Boston we’re on patrol in the area of Flaherty Way in South Boston when Boston Police said “Officers observed a group of juveniles in a hallway and heard a female voice yelling that she was going to call the cops. Officers entered the hallway and observed an elderly woman utilizing a walker at the end of the hallway. At that time, a 17-year-old juvenile male pushed past the elderly woman and ran out the door grabbing his waste area.”
Boston Police said. “The juvenile was eventually stopped by officers and a firearm fell to the ground; officers recovered a .380 Semi-Automatic Bernardelli Gardone firearm.
The firearm, Boston Police said “Was loaded with 6 rounds in the magazine and 1 round in the chamber.”
