On Thursday the press conferences and weigh ins were held at Polar Park for the Polar Park Punch Out being held Saturday night at Polar Park.
Tickets are priced at $205.00 (Field VIP – rows 1-4, all padded seats), $155.00 (VIP), $75.00 (Home Plate Reserved – rows 5 and beyond, not padded seats) and $45.00 (Reserved), and available for purchase at Polar Park’s box office. Tickets can also be bought at www.polarpark.com/boxing
Doors open at 5pm with the first amateur match at 6pm and the pro card starting at 7pm.
For the Female Super Bantamweights Melanie Costa from Norton, MA weighed in at 123 ½ pounds while her opponent Kalindra Walkiria De Carcalho Faria from Taubate, São Paulo, Brazil goes into the fight weighing 123 pounds.
In the Junior Welterweight Division Tevin Regis from Dorchester, MA weighs in at 134 pounds. His opponent Joshua Zimmerman from Baltimore, MD weighs in at 140 pounds.
For the Junior Middleweight Division Josniel Castro from Boca Raton, FL by way of Puerto Rico comes into the fight at 154 ½ pounds. Jorge Martin Garcia, his opponent from General Lavalle, Buenos Aires, Argentina weighs 152 pounds.
The Welterweight Division has Robert Degaetano from Douglas, MA weighing 144 ½ pounds while his opponent Michael Taylor from Cortland, NY weighs 145 pounds.
In the Super Featherweight Division Kevin Walsh from Brockton, MA weighs 135 pounds while his opponent Philip Davis from Worcester, MA weighs in at 137 pounds.
The Lightweight Division has two matchups first James Maner from Johnston, RI versus Saul Almeida from Framingham, MA. The other matchup is Neal Sullivan from Worcester, MA who is fighting Michael Medeiros from Nahant,MA by way of Brazil.
Maner weighs in at 168 ½ pounds, Almeida weighs in at 182, Sullivan enters the fight weighing 172 ½ pounds, and Medeiros weighs 174 pounds.
The Co-Feature fight is a Heavyweight fight with Sean Bey from Stoughton, MA by way of Providence, RI weighing in at 232 ½ pounds. His opponent Quintin Sumpter from Pittsfield, MA comes in at 227 ½ pounds.
The Main Event is a light heavyweight matchup between Oscar Rojas and Kendrick Ball Jr.
Rojas who’s from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico weighs in at 173 pounds.
Ball Jr clocks in at 175 pounds and is from Worcester, MA
