Boston Police Arrest 1 and Recover Stolen Firearm From South Carolina

Wednesday night Boston Police arrested Todd Hill, 54, of Boston for Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Firearm Violation with 3 Prior Violent/Drug Crimes, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of Ammunition, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Receiving Stolen Property to wit. 

Officers were on patrol in the area of Dudley Street and Magazine Street when they observed a motor vehicle traveling on Dudley St. commit several traffic violations. Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of 45 Woodward Street. 

After approaching the vehicle and making contact with Hill, he informed officers that he did not have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license at the time of the stop. Officers confirmed that Hill was unlicensed and instructed him to exit the motor vehicle and placed him under arrest. 

During a search of the vehicle officers located, and recovered, a Taurus PT11G2 9mm loaded firearm. The firearm was later discovered to be stolen from an incident in South Carolina.
