New England Revolution And Orlando City SC At Gillette Stadium Saturday Night

Saturday night the New England Revolution will host Orlando City SC at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, at 7:30 p.m.
The New England Revolution, who are 8-3-6 and 30 points for the season are looking to improve on the club’s unbeaten 5-0-3 home record at Gillette Stadium.
Earlier this week, on Tuesday Sporting Director & Head Coach Bruce Arena met with the media and when he was asked about facing Orlando City SC this weekend, Arena said “Well, they [Orlando City SC] have got a good group of attacking players and we’ve got to be aware of them. It’s a team that has momentum and confidence, so as usual, it will be difficult.”
Following Thursday’s training session, Arena again met with the media and when asked about Saturday’s match with Orlando City SC, Arena said “Well, it’s an important game for us, our second consecutive home game, and we think it’s important to collect three points at home. So, that’s certainly going to be our goal. We’re facing a team [Orlando City SC] that’s had a good run over the last couple of months with some very good attacking players, so we need to be ready to play a good game.”
Whe Arena was aked about the team’s strengths when playing at home, he said “Well, we’ve been okay. I mean, we have three draws out of the eight games to date, which we haven’t been pleased with. But like any team in the league, I think if you look right across the board, all the teams in the league have a much more favorable record at home than they do away. There might be one or two exceptions to that, but we’ve generally been good in Gillette Stadium.”
Revolution Defender DeJuan Jones also met with the media Thursday and when he was asked about Saturday’s match against Orlando City he said “We’re looking forward to this match. It’s the start of the second half of the season and we’re at home. We know Orlando is a really good team [and hold] a good position in the table. We know it’s going to be a battle. They attack with a lot of numbers and we’re going to have to be sharp defensively and score when we get opportunities.”
Saturday night’s match is game two of a three-game homestand for the New England Revolution.
