New England Revolution gets 3-1 win over Orlando City SC

The New England Revolution picked up a 3-1 win over Orlando City SC to improve to a record of 9-6-3 with 33 points.

The Revolution picked up their second straight win and have gone 2-0-3 over their last five games.

New England is also unbeaten at home this season with a record of 6-0-3.

In the win neither team scored in the first half with all four goals coming in the second half.

Emmanuel Boateng opened up the scoring, breaking the tie at zero in the 51st minute giving the Revolution a 1-0 lead.

Gustavo Bou extended the lead for the Revolution in the 69th minute scoring to put his team up 2-0.

Orlando City got their first goal on the board in minute eighty from a goal scored by Duncan McGuire. McGuire’s goal was the only one scored by Orlando FC. 

New England capped off the night with a Charles Gil goal in the 85th minute.

The Revolution will play again at home on Saturday June 24th against Toronto FC.
