Natisha Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod defeated Ramat Hasharon, 77-71, in Game 1 of the WBL Semifinals on Monday, March 27th.
Hiedeman filled the stat sheet in the win with 10 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, four steals and one block. On Thursday, March 30th, Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod picked up another win against Ramat Hasharon in Game 2 of the WBL Semifinals, 104-80.
Hiedeman finished with 19 points, six rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in the win.
Tiffany Hayes and CBK Mersin defeated Ormanspor, 81-68, in Turkish League play on Tuesday, March 28th.
Hayes led the way for her squad with 26 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in the win. On Thursday, March 30th, Hayes and CBK Mersin picked up a 94-82 win over Antalya 07 in Turkish League play.
Hayes led her team in scoring with 24 points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals. On Saturday, April 1st, CBK Mersin defeated Cankaya in Game 1 of the Turkish League Quarterfinals, 114-67. Hayes finished with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Brionna Jones and USK Prague took home a 113-35 victory over Slovanka in Game 2 of the Czech League Quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 28th.
Jones notched a double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks. Jones, Alyssa Thomas and USK Prague defeated Slovanka, 114-31, in Game 3 of the Czech League Quarterfinals on Friday, March 31st.
Jones led the way with 24 points, nine rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks. Thomas added 15 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block. With the win, USK Prague won the series 3-0.
Nirra Fields and Emlak Konut picked up a 75-71 win over Besiktas on Tuesday, March 28th in Turkish League competition.
Field led her team with a double-double, tallying 23 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals in the victory. On Saturday, April 1st,, Fields and Emlak Konut defeated Botas in Game 1 of the Turkish League Quarterfinals, 75-74.
Fields led her team with 25 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
Victoria Macaulay and Botas defeated Turkish League opponent, Rize, 74-69, on Thursday, March 30th. Macaulay finished with nine points, six rebounds and three blocks in the win.
Macaulay and Botas dropped Game 1 of the Turkish League Quarterfinals to Emlak Konut, 75-74, on Saturday, April 1st.
Macaulay led her team with 17 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in the effort.
Lauren Cox and Valencia took home a 69-56 victory over Estudiantes in the Spanish Cup quarterfinals on Thursday, March 30th.
Cox tallied nine points, five rebounds and one steal in the win. On Saturday, April 1, Cox and Valencia fell to Zaragoza, 74-59, in the Spanish Cup semifinals.
Mikiah Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions defeated the Sevenoaks Suns, 91-69, on Saturday, April 1st.
Herbert Harrigan led her team with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. The following day, Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions picked up an 87-48 victory over the Sheffield Hatters.
Herbert Harrigan finished with nine rebounds, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Connecticut Sun players are back in overseas action this week beginning with Tiffany Hayes and CBK Mersin taking on Cankaya at 6:00 AM ET; Macaulay and Botas playing Fields and Emlak Konut at 8:00 AM ET; and Hiedeman and Maccabi matching up against Ramat Hasharon at 12:00 PM ET on April 3th
Thomas, Jones and USK Prague play Hradec Kralove at 12:00 PM ET on April 4th. Cox and Valencia take on Gernika Bizkaia at 2:00 PM ET on April 5th.
