Boston University 77, Cornell 61

Walter Whyte led the Terriers with 16 points as Boston University defeated Cornell on Saturday. Fletcher Tynen scored 14 and Jonas Harper scored 12 as both shot 4 from 6 from the floor and 2 for three from three.

Boston College 75, Florida State 69

Quinten Post scored 21 points to lead the Eagles to a road win in Tallahassee. He went a perfect 5 for 5 from beyond the arc. Devin McGlockton added 16 points for BC and was perfect from the free-throw line, shooting 10 for 10 from the line.

UConn 64, Seton Hall 55

While Andre Jackson scored a career-high 15 points for the Huskies, it was Jordan Hawkins who led the way, scoring 20 points in the victory for UConn. A key part to the win was their defense holding the Pirates scoreless for a six and a half minute period in the game.

Providence 85, Villanova 72

Providence came in to their game against Villanova undefeated both at home [14-0] and in conference play [7-0] and were also looking for their 20th win of the season.

With Ed Croswell leading the way for the Friars with 21 points and Bryce Hopkins recording a double-double [19 points, 12 rebounds], Providence was able to get their 20th win and stay undefeated at home and in conference play with an 85-72 victory.

Providence has won 20 games each of the 12 seasons head coach Ed Cooley has been under the helm.
