The Endicott Gulls ousted the Salve Regina Seahawks 69-58 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men’s Basketball Action.
Salve Regina was leading after the first half up 34-28 despite going down 8-17. The Seahawks would climb back in the match and eventually go up, holding a six point lead going into halftime.
But Endicott came roaring back, outscoring Slave Regina 41-24 in the second, which secured the win. The win would come thanks to the Gulls pulling away in the final seven minutes.
The Seahawks would fall despite a 20-point performance from guard JoJo Powers. Salve Regina now has a record of 9-16 and will return to action on Tuesday, February 21st, vs. Western New England.
The Gulls would get their win on the backs of guard Jaden Echevarria, who scored 17 points and forwarded Stephen Fama with 15 points. Endicott improves to a record of 16-9 and will face Roger Williams on February 21st for their next matchup.
