Hartford Yard Goats Get A 7-0 Shutout Win Against The Rumble Ponies

The Hartford Yard Goats on Saturday defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7-0. Daniel Montano got this ballgame rolling at the top of the first with a single to help get Isaac Collins over the plate and make it a 1-0 ballgame. 

Top of the fourth Aaro Schunk hit a single to help get Brenton Doyle over the plate to put the Yard Goats on top 2-0. 

Top of the seventh Brenton Doyle hit his 22 homer for the season to drive in Hunter Stovall and Isaac Collins to put the Yard Goats on top 5-0. 

Top of the ninth Isaac Collins and Daniel Montano both got over the plate to help the Yard Goats secure their 7-0 win. 

The Yard Goats, who are now 14-8 against Binghamton, meet the Rumble Ponies for the 23rd time this season on Sunday to wrap up their season.
