Worcester Red Sox Drop Game 2 Of 6 Against The RailRiders

The Worcester Red Sox, Wednesday night played game two of their six-game in Moosic, PA against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (AAA-New York Yankees). Wocester came into Tuesday night’s game seeking to get a win after dropping game one but unfortunately all did not end so well with Worcester dropping game two 4-1.

After three scoreless innings, at the top of the fourth Johan Mieses hit a single to drive in Emmanuel Valdez who was Worcester’s solo run of the game, making it 1-0. 

The RailRiders made this a 1-3 game in the bottom of the fourth with Ronald Guzman hitting a homer to drive in Ryan LaMarre and Josh Breaux.

Bottom of the fifth, RailRiders made this a 1-4 game with Ryan LaMarre hitting a single to drive in Anthony Volpe.

Worcester and the RailRiders will have their third meeting of this series on Thursday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:45 PM.
