Shots Fired In Boston Leads To Drug Arrest

Wednesday morning Boston Police arrested Eddie Walker, 51, of Boston, and Torre Jenkins, 48 of Boston. Walker is charged with Affray and Possession of a Class B Substance. Jenkins is charged with Affray.

While on patrol in the area of 115 Southampton Street officers heard what they thought was a single gunshot and observed a large group of people immediately dispersing from the area. Officers observed three males engaged in a physical confrontation and then heard the sound of metal hitting the pavement. Boston Police say that the officers subsequently recovered a loaded .45 caliber handgun.  

In a statement, Boston Police said “Officers were able to take two of the males, Walker and Jenkins, into custody, while the third male fled the scene and was unable to be apprehended.  Despite a multitude of witnesses being present, no one would provide information to Officers, and they could not determine who possessed the firearm.”
