State Police Investigating Fatal Crash In Pembroke

Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal two car motor vehicle accident just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning in Pembroke.

Massachusetts State Police in a statement said a “Preliminary investigation suggests that a 2019 Mercedes SUV and a Honda Ridgeline were both traveling south on Route 3 in Pembroke and came into contact in a sideswipe collision. The Mercedes then rolled over and the operator was ejected. The operator of the Mercedes, a 54-year-old female from Plymouth was determined to be deceased at the scene. The operator of the Honda, a 42-year-old male operator from Oak Bluffs, was not injured.”

The accident is still under investigation by Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
