Shots Fired Call Leads To 1 Arrest And Recovery Of Loaded Firearm In Dorchester, Massachusetts

Boston Police just after 9:00 PM Friday night responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Topliff Street in Dorchester. Officers on scene did locate ballistic evidence and damage in the area of Levant St.

Officers were informed that a black male, wearing a black jacket, and black pants was running on Geneva Avenue and that male was observed by officers in the area of Holiday St, across Geneva Ave. Officers also observed the male was clutching his waistband as he was running on Oakley Street, into a backyard.

After a foot pursuit the male was located hiding on Westville Street. Officers also located a loaded firearm. 

The Male who has been identified as Roger Mcafee, a/k/a Elijah Mcafee, 18-years-old, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number, Trespassing, and Providing a False Name Following Arrest.
