Providence, Rhode Island Police Arrest Man With A Gun And Drugs

Police in Providence, Rhode Island have arrested 42-year-old Joseph Trott of Providence for possession of a firearm without a license and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence. 

Providence Police while in the area of Manton Avenue early Saturday morning heard gunshots from the area of Curtis Street and Bosworth Street.

After searching the area, Providence Police located Trott carrying a firearm. 

While searching Trott, Providence Police recovered crack cocaine, marijuana and ammunition.
