Back in downtown Jacksonville Saturday night, the Worcester Red Sox took care of business again, beating the Jumbo Shrimp 5-1.
The WooSox took the lead early in the first with Rob Refsnyder and Franchy Cordero both scoring to make it a 2-0 WooSox lead. Then at the top of the third Johan Mieses hit his second homer of the season, Franchy Cordero and Ronaldo Hernandez scored to make it a 5-0 WooSox lead.
In the bottom of the fourth, Lorenzo Quintana scored to get the Jumbo Shrimp on the board and make it a 5-1 WooSox lead.
The WooSox and Jumbo Shrimp will wrap up this series on Sunday and the WooSox will then return to Worcester for their home opener on Tuesday against the Iron Pigs.
