On Sunday morning a Metro-North train fatally struck a pedestrian in Greenwich, Connecticut. 

The Metro-North tweeted at 10:48 AM, “New Haven Line customers should anticipate delays of 10-15 minutes between Rye and Greenwich because the police are responding to a report of an unauthorized person on or near the tracks near Greenwich.”

The pedestrian on the tracks at the Greenwich Metro-North Station was struck by a train around 10:15 a.m. and while the identity of that person has not yet been released, what we do know is it is a man who is approximately 25 years old.

The train involved was the 9:59 a.m. local train from Stamford to Grand Central.
